NHPCO January ECHO Session
Practical quality improvement skills are a job requirement for healthcare professionals tasked with solving difficult problems. Despite their importance and the ubiquitous nature of their use, such skills are not often taught during formal training, and a challenge to obtain while on the job. Our team at Prepped Health and Duke University created an app-based curriculum to provide both practical and concise education alongside project management help to busy professionals. Access to this app, called BiteSizeQI, occurs through participating in NHPCO’s Quality Connections program. In this session, we will share our “top 10 tips” for conducting an impactful QI project. Further, we will describe a successful QI project by a peer hospice organization to highlight strategies and tactics to set you up for success. Plug into the session to hear about BiteSizeQI, at 3:00 pm EDT
